Teacher Charged with Rape Resigns
Attorney says the charge against Heather Whitten, 38, has nothing to do with Williams Intermediate School or the Pell City school system.

PELL CITY, Alabama -- A woman arrested Friday on a second degree rape charge has resigned from her position as a fifth grade teacher at a Pell City elementary school.
