Enterprise Man Arrested on Multiple Burglary Charges

The Enterprise Police Department has arrested Roshaun Tearmbia Benson, (30) of 108 Colony Dr. Apt. 14, in Enterprise, and charged him with four counts of burglary in the second degree and one count of burglary in the third degree.
The arrest is a result of several incidents beginning in the early morning hours of Friday. Officers responded to the 300 block of Fleming Street in reference to a call that an unknown suspect had entered an occupied residence.
The resident had discovered a broken window and called police. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
Within a short time, the police department received three subsequent calls from residents in the same area reporting that an unknown subject had entered into or attempted to enter into their residence.
After an extensive search of the area, officers discovered Benson hiding in an unoccupied building and he was taken into custody.
