The trial of a Dothan man whom prosecutors have called “a serial rapist” is underway at the Houston County Courthouse.

The trial of a Dothan man whom prosecutors have called “a serial rapist” is underway at the Houston County Courthouse.
25-year-old Michael Handsford is already serving a sentence of nearly 1,700 years in prison following two previous convictions, both involving multiple victims.
Opening arguments in the latest case were heard Wednesday afternoon.
Testimony continues Thursday.
