Crash Kills 3 Girls, Injures 2 Women
A two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Covington County claimed the life of three Florida children and injured two adults.

Covington County -- A two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Covington County claimed the life of three Florida children and injured two adults.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:50 p.m. on Alabama 137 at the intersection of Covington County 4 in the Wing community. Danielle Pippins, 8, Janniell Pippins, 8, and Savannah Furr, 11, of Baker, Fla., were killed when the 1993 Ford Tempo they were riding in was struck by a 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by Christine Harris, 18, of Birmingham. Harris was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Tempo, Dianne Poire, 54, of Sarasota, Fla., was taken to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola where she is listed in critical condition.
No further information is available at this time. The crash is being investigated by the Alabama State Troopers.
