Aviation College Showcased to Leadership Academy Participants
Rising community college leaders visit Ozark.

A group of rising leaders are preparing to take the reins of Alabama’s two-year college system.
Thursday, participants in the leadership academy gathered at the Enterprise State Community College’s Aviation Center in Ozark.
They discussed issues related to leadership and administration.
Some of the current two-year college presidents have been there since the early years of the system.
“Those folks have given us great service, but they’re ready to go home. We need people to step up and take those roles. We believe as the leaders of the system that growing those people from inside the institution is an important function,” says David Hardy, Co-Director of the Alabama Community College Leadership Academy.
Those in the academy travel to different campuses throughout the year during the course.
