We caught up with State Attorney General, Troy King today to get his latest thoughts about the bingo controversy.

King says he thinks there should be some sort of legislation that will allow Alabama voters to decide whether or not electronic bingo is legal.
"People should be allowed to vote. This issue should be settled once and for all. We are going to have a vote in Alabama. There is no question about that. The question is who are we going to let vote? The governor and others believe that we should let 9 members of the Supreme Court tell people who should vote. I believe we ought to let the 4 million people who live in this State, and pay taxes, and who own this government, vote. I am just a conservative initiative and referendum Republican who trusts the people, and who believes the people should make this decision, and I am going to turn this over to them" said Attorney General Troy King, (R)Alabama

For years, the Attorney General has brought a piece of legislation to the floor regarding electronic bingo. He says that he plans to do it again during this legislative session.
