ATLANTA (AP) -- The world's largest aquarium is hosting a traveling exhibition featuring 15 species of rare frogs. The exhibit at the Georgia Aquarium in downtown Atlanta opened to the public Thursday with 3,000 square feet of rocks, plants and water falls for the amphibians. The exhibition aims to increase awareness for frogs, which scientists say are dying off in record numbers.
The exhibition introduces guests to the biology and evolution of frogs and the role they play in ecosystems. The species on display range from a long-nosed horned frog to the poisonous dart frog.
