Vitamin D May Lower Stroke Risk

Vitamin D may help lower the risk of stroke.

Researchers at the University of Hawaii followed more than 7-thousand Japanese-American men and found those who consumed the least amount of Vitamin D had a 22 percent higher risk of stroke.

Sunlight is a good source of Vitamin D. It can also be found in supplements, fortified milk, fatty fish and eggs.
