Studies Link Lack of Sleep with Obesity

Researchers are exploring how a lack of sleep can be linked to obesity.

A study at U.C. Berkeley found that sleep deprivation impairs brain activity in the frontal lobe, which controls behavior and complex choices.

The results suggest that sleep loss may prevent the brain from making appropriate food choices.
