Doctors believe stress may play a role in Alzheimer's disease.

A new study on mice found chronic stress can trigger the growth of proteins in brain cells.

Those proteins have been linked to Alzheimer's.

Researchers in California say the effect was most notable in the region of the brain that collects memories.
