Some Cooking Oils Could Lower Blood Pressure

Cooking with the right oils might be a way to treat high blood pressure.

New research finds that using a combination of sesame and rice bran oil works nearly as well as medication to lower blood pressure.

The study presented at an American Heart Association meeting also shows an impact on cholesterol levels.

Patients who use the oils saw a 26-percent drop in so-called bad cholesterol.
