Sleeping pills may help you get some shut eye but some of those medications may be linked to a shorter life span.
That's according to a study in the British Medical Journal.
Researchers found people who popped just one to 18 prescription strength sleeping aids annually, had three-and-a-half times the risk of early death than those taking no sleeping pills.
The increase jumped fivefold for people who took three sleeping pills or more per week.
