Secondhand Smoke Weakens Kids' Ability to Cough


A new study shows children who are exposed to secondhand smoke have a weakened ability to cough.

Coughing helps protect the lungs and keeps airways clear.

Scientists say that may be the reason kids exposed to smoke are more likely to develop pneumonia, bronchitis and other diseases.
