Organic Produce Has More Antioxidants, Less Pesticides

New research reveals benefits to eating organic fruits and vegetables.

British scientists reviewed earlier studies and found organic produce contains 17 percent more antioxidants than traditionally-grown crops.

They also contain significantly fewer pesticides.

While the study doesn't claim eating organic foods leads to better health, previous research has shown antioxidants may lower the risk of cancer and other diseases.
