DOTHAN, AL (November 14, 2012) - Nicole Langford has been named Flowers Hospital’s Director of Rehabilitation Services. As the new director, Langford is responsible for leading inpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. In this capacity she is responsible for daily department operations, coordination of staff, and achievement of quality patient care initiatives.
“Nicole’s extensive physical therapy experience and proven people skills combine to make her the right person to lead our inpatient rehabilitation services,” said Suzanne Woods, Chief Executive Officer. “With Nicole serving as the Director of Rehabilitation Services, our patients are in very capable hands.”
Langford attended the University of South Alabama’s Physical Therapy Program. During a rotation at Flowers Hospital, she was awarded a physical therapy scholarship, and upon completion of her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1998, she began her career at Flowers. She worked for eight years as a staff Physical Therapist and was promoted to the Director of Physical Therapy in 2006.
Langford is married to Jeremy, who works in the Emergency Room at Flowers Hospital. Langford has two children, Sofia and Davis. She is an avid runner and also enjoys volleyball, tennis and crossfit training. She and her family attend St. Columba Catholic Church.
