Lack of Sleep Could Increase Anxiety

A new study found that sleep deprivation can also lead to higher anxiety levels.

Researchers asked a group of healthy adults to anticipate an emotional event.

Then they took brain scans first after a good night's sleep, and then after a night of sleep deprivation.

They found that after being deprived of sleep, the participants' anxiety about the upcoming event jumped by as much as 60-percent.
