High Fructose Corn Syrup Not to Blame for Weight Gain

High fructose corn syrup sweeteners should not get all the blame for weight gain.

That's the finding of researchers from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.

Researchers drew their conclusions based on the analysis of 41 different studies.

But, they admit that some studies had shortcomings so their conclusions are inconclusive.

High fructose corn syrup sweeteners are used in many soft drinks.

Researchers say in order to avoid weight gain people should pay attention to total calories.
