CT Scan Cancer Risk Overestimated?

The risk of getting cancer from CT scans may have been overestimated.

Scientists looked at more than 10 million patients who underwent CT scans and found that less than half a percent developed cancer. That's 10 times lower than previously thought.

The study also shows the number of patients undergoing CT is steadily growing.
