Bay Co. Health Dept. Offers Free HIV/AIDS Testing

Bay County - The National Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS is being held March 3-9, 2013. The event encourages the coming together of all people of faith to unite with purpose, compassion, and hope to:

Educate every American about HIV prevention facts;
Encourage and support HIV testing;
Advocate for the availability of compassionate care and treatment for all those living with the disease in every community; and
Love unconditionally all persons living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.

The Florida Department of Health in Bay County will offer free HIV/AIDS testing by appointment Monday thru Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. On Tuesday, March 5, 2013, HIV rapid testing will be offered from 4:30 until 7:00 pm. No appointment is necessary for the rapid testing.
