Alabama Tracking Heat Related Illnesses and Deaths

Alabama State Health Officials announced today that the agency will start tracking heat related illnesses and deaths.
The effort will involve a day by day look at how heat affects Alabama residents.
Last year the state saw eight reported heat related deaths.
So far this year there has been five deaths in the state of Alabama because of heat.
