A panel of experts recommends the FDA withdraw Avastin as a breast cancer fighting drug.

Avastin went on the market in 2008 after a trial showed it delayed breast cancer symptoms, but a follow-up study couldn't replicate the results.

The FDA, however, doesn't always follow the panel's advice.
