HIV Treatments Could Prevent its Spread

There’s new evidence that treating HIV prevents it from spreading.

In British Columbia, researchers say the number of new infections has been cut in half since modern AIDS drugs have become available.

The study also finds the rate of other STDs has increased, suggesting it was the AIDS drugs and not other factors that produced the findings.
