Men who are obese have shorter life spans.
That's according to a 60-year study of 5,000 men starting when they were 20.
At any age, those who were obese were twice as likely to die than slimmer men.
And every extra pound increased their risk of death throughout life, with obese men dying about eight years younger than fit men.
