Being Overweight at an Older Age May Decrease Your Risk of Getting Dementia

Doctors say obesity over the age of sixty-five actually works against dementia.
Researchers from the University of Washington say underweight elders increase their chances for dementia.
This flip-flop was discovered by studying about 3000 patients.
They defined underweight as patients with a body mass index lower than twenty.
The findings appear in the latest issue of the "Archives of Neurology."
