Vitamin D and Pregnancy

According to a new Boston University study, women who are lacking Vitamin D at the time of delivery are almost four times more likely to have a cesarean birth than women who are not deficient.

Researchers studied two hundred fifty three pregnant women.

Seventeen percent of them had undergone a c-section.

Vitamin D is known as the "sunshine vitamin" because our body produces it when exposed to sunlight.
