Acupuncture and Headaches

A new Duke University study says acupuncture works better than drugs like aspirin to reduce the severity and frequency of chronic headaches.

In a study of 400 migraine sufferers, doctors say 62 percent treated with acupuncture found relief versus 45 percent taking medications.

Researchers say acupuncture works because the tiny needle pricks release your body's own natural pain killers.

It can also have fewer side effects.
