Veterans Visit Georgia Aquarium

They had a unique opportunity to swim with some of the biggest fish in the world.

Disabled soldiers were able to swim with thousands of fish, including whale sharks, at the world's largest aquarium in Atlanta.

Mentally, it was a way to take a stress break from life itself. Physically, it was great rehabilitation.

Therapeutic recreation specialists say for paraplegics, being in the water is liberating.
