Researchers at the University of Utah studied mice with a condition called Wallerian Degeneration Slow, a disease similar to MS.
They injected the mice with a compound found in red wine, and the mice gained weight. Scientists say that the weight gain was a positive sign, and showed that the mice were improving.
Another unrelated study also noted positive results with human trials of a new MS drug called “Laquinimod.”
