The report in today's New England Journal of Medicine supports the CDC’s recommendation that moms-to-be should get the jab. Infants under six months should not be vaccinated.
Doctors tracked more than 600 Bangladeshi moms for the study. They found babies born to vaccinated mothers had a 63 percent lower flu risk.
