Meth Use

Byproducts of a meth lab busted in West Knox Co. on March 26th, 2008.

A new study out on the Australian drug and alcohol research center found that methamphetamine is becoming more popular than heroin or cocaine. Usage is increasing faster than any other drug group.

One reason is that the ingredients are available in household products, and it's not too difficult to improvise equipment. The United Nations says thirty-four million people worldwide use amphetamine-type stimulants.
