Study: 2 Factors Increase ADHD Risk
A new study identifies two factors that could increase a child's risk of developing attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.

Researchers in New York found children who were exposed to gestational diabetes and raised in a low income household are 14-times more likely to develop ADHD by age six.
Doctors say the risk significantly increases when both circumstances exist.
Gestational diabetes, or glucose intolerance, develops during pregnancy and has been on the rise especially among minority women.
