A SPIKE IN CRIME IN DOTHAN LEADS TO INCREASED POLICE PRESENCE AND MULTIPLE ARRESTS. THE DOTHAN POLICE DEPARTMENT SAYS IT INCREASED PATROLS IN THE FORD COUNTRY COMMUNITY DUE TO AN INCREASE IN CRIME.
OFFICERS SAY THAT BOOST LANDED 23-PEOPLE IN JAIL. DURING THE COURSE OF THEIR CRACKDOWN... POLICE MADE 8-MISDEMEANOR AND 3-FELONY ARRESTS AND ISSUED 47-TRAFFIC CITATIONS.
